Global Travel Club: How It Works

ENABLING TRAVEL. ENRICHING LIVES.

One of the many great benefits of choosing PD is that it gives your patient's the freedom to travel to over 90 countries in the world. Through Baxter's global contacts and partnerships, we're able to safely ship your patient's PD supplies directly to their destination, simplifying and streamlining the process.

When factoring in how long your patient's trip is and the amount of PD supplies they will require, it's easy to see just how valuable the Global Travel Club can be.

For example, if your patient's require 12 litres of solution per day to maintain their therapy and they are travelling for two weeks, they would have to carry 168 litres of solution with them. Read on to see how Baxter can help arrange for delivery of their solutions to make travelling much more manageable.

Liters Per Day Length of Trip Total Liters Needed
12* 3 days 36 liters
12* 7 days 84 liters
12* 14 days 168 liters

*12 liters per day is a sample prescription used for illustrative purposes only. Patient's specific numbers may vary.

TRAVEL ORDER PROCESS

For your patient's there is nothing like the excitement of planning an upcoming trip. Part of that preparation includes securing the PD supplies so they can travel in confidence. To help ensure that your patient's don't experience any unexpected turbulence along the way, our Global Travel Club is here to make their travels go smoothly.

OK, that sounds good... but what exactly do my patient's and I have to do? And how? And by when?

All great questions! We’ll break it down in more detail, step-by-step.
